From electrifying discussions and interactive workshops to invaluable networking, it was an unforgettable experience that bridged academia and real-world impact.

Day 3 of the event hosted GasMINE/Proline Energy Resources Inc. and featured an exciting Debate Competition on the topic: “Flaring vs Monetization: Nigeria’s Most Valuable Pathway to Energy Security.” Shout-out to Favour Chiamaka Ikem, crowned Best Speaker, brilliantly emphasizing how reducing flaring conserves natural resources and how monetization fuels investment in gas infrastructure. Congratulations to Mmayen Inyang for winning the 1st Place as Quiz winner.

The day also featured an inspiring Keynote Address by Peter Oyewole, Founder of GasMINE/ PERI, on “The Energy-Tech Fusion: Why Petroleum Engineering Still Matters.” He highlighted how stranded gas is set to play a vital role in powering Bitcoin mining and AI data centers a fusion of energy and blockchain that will define the next era of sustainable economy.
